Why Choose a Bifold Door?

Nothing transforms a living space quite like a bifold door.

When fully opened, these doors fold neatly away to create a seamless connection between your home and garden – perfect for summer entertaining or simply enjoying the view. In winter, they flood your room with natural light while keeping the warmth in.

Unlike traditional patio or French doors, bifolds can open up almost an entire wall, instantly making your room feel bigger and brighter. They’re incredibly versatile too – opening fully in summer, partially for ventilation, or staying closed to create a striking glass wall that looks beautiful whatever the weather.

Choose Your Perfect Material: Timber or Aluminium

When it comes to creating your ideal bifold doors, the choice of material sets the tone.

Our timber doors are handcrafted from carefully selected premium hardwoods, perfect for adding warmth and character to period properties or country homes. If you prefer a modern aesthetic, our aluminium doors combine slim sightlines with outstanding durability, available in any RAL colour to match your vision.

Whichever material you choose, we’ll help you customise every detail – from the hardware and threshold options to the glazing specification – creating doors that are uniquely yours.

Frequently Asked Questions

Contact Us

What's the difference between timber and aluminium bifold doors?

Both materials offer distinct benefits.

Our timber doors are crafted from premium hardwoods, offering natural beauty and excellent insulation. They’re perfect for period properties and traditional homes.

Our aluminium doors feature slimmer frames for a more contemporary look, require minimal maintenance, and come in any RAL colour. Both options exceed current building regulations for thermal efficiency.

How many door panels can I have?

Our bifold doors are made to measure, so you can choose the number of panels to suit your space—typically anywhere from two to seven panels. We’ll help you find the ideal configuration for a smooth, balanced opening and maximum glass area.

How thermally efficient are your bifold doors?

Very efficient. All of our bifold doors are designed with thermal performance in mind, using high-spec glazing, insulated frames, and weather seals to help maintain a comfortable indoor temperature all year round—saving energy and reducing heating bills.

Are bifold doors suitable for orangeries and conservatories?

Absolutely. Bifold doors are a fantastic addition to orangeries and conservatories. They let in plenty of natural light and open up fully to connect your interior space with the garden, making them ideal for entertaining or relaxing in the sunshine.

What areas do you serve?

We work across Gloucestershire and the surrounding regions, providing expertly designed and installed bifold doors tailored to your home. If you’re unsure whether we cover your area, just get in touch—our friendly team will be happy to help.
