Installation Manager / Project Manager – Fenestration Industry

About Us:

The Little Conservatory Company Ltd is a well-established and respected name in the fenestration industry, specialising in the supply and installation of high-quality windows, doors, conservatories, orangeries, glazing solutions and all associated construction works. With a growing portfolio of residential projects, we are looking to recruit a highly skilled and experienced Installation Manager/Project Manager to join our team.

Role Overview:

This is a dual-role position ideal for someone with hands-on knowledge of fenestration installations, strong project/office management skills and the building industry. You will oversee the full lifecycle of our projects, from planning and scheduling to on-site coordination and client communication. You’ll also ensure all building and installation works meet with our high standards of quality, safety, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and manage multiple projects from start to finish
  • Liaise with clients, site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers
  • Provide technical support on products and installation methods
  • Prepare and manage project schedules, risk assessments, and installation documentation
  • Oversee stock, equipment, and logistical planning
  • Manage installation teams, ensuring high performance and compliance with health & safety standards
  • Deal with aftercare, remedials, and client handovers
  • Report regularly to senior management on project progress, timelines, and budgets

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in the fenestration industry (windows, doors, conservatories, orangeries, etc.) and a good understanding of building works
  • Strong technical understanding of installation practices, building regs, and product specifications
  • Experience in project/installation management roles
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities
  • Proficiency in office tools such as MS Office, CRM systems, and project scheduling software
  • Full UK driving licence
