A porch, if designed and constructed correctly will always enhance the appearance of your property and give you that much needed extra storage space, downstairs W/C and shower area.
There is a wide choice of roof styles and designs with a selection of roof tiles available designed to match your existing roof or contrast with it. You can incorporate the latest doors and windows to create a porch with opening casements or fixed windows with a door. We can also help you choose the floor tiles, add lighting and carry out the necessary building works as well. A porch is a great addition to your home to:
- Improve security: porches offer an extra level of security to your home and are a deterrent to the most determined burglars.
- Added protection against the elements: An extra barrier against the wind and the cold, not to mention the muddy shoes in winter.

- Usually planning permission is free: due to the small footprint, most porches are exempt from planning permission requirements.

Thankfully for most porch designs, planning permission is not required. If you live in a house, the work is considered 'permitted development', providing that: the highest part of the porch does not measure more than three metres up from ground level. Paul recently replaced the fascia and sofit boards all around my house and repaired the concrete in my drive.
