Crafted using only the finest timber, all our timber Orangeries add a feeling of quality and luxury. We can customise details and fixtures to suit your needs, and with our stylish feature windows, stunning roof lanterns and sleek bi-fold doors, our orangeries capture the natural light with dramatic effect, turning the additional space into a warm and inviting area to relax and entertain.
Our Hardwood Orangeries are built only from the finest grade hardwoods such as Sapele, Idigbo and Oak.
From modern developments through to traditional period estates, timber orangeries provide a more permanent structure that can be designed to blend beautifully with the existing style of the property. Our team is ready to survey your site, produce designs and supply the complete structure for you to assemble or we can provide you with just the hardwood joinery.
Crafted using only the finest hardwoods, we can tackle any style of building, from traditional or highly decorative buildings including raised and fielded panels, decorative pilasters, and glazing bars or window leads of any design, to ultra-modern buildings with thin, plain frame sections and large expanses of glass. Whatever the design, all of our products add a feeling of quality and luxury. With our stylish feature windows, stunning timber lanterns and sleek bi-folding doors, our orangeries capture the natural light with dramatic effect, turning the additional space into a warm and inviting area to relax and entertain.
All of our wooden orangeries can be finished in an array of colours, including translucent stains to show off the natural grain of the timber. There is also the possibility to have different colours on the inside and outside of your building, allowing you to achieve the perfect balance for both your internal and external spaces. No matter the style, at TLCC we are confident that we can help you to come up with a design that will complement your home and be an enduring and impressive feature for years to come.
In most cases, planning permission is not necessary for Orangeries because adding one to your home is usually allowed under the new 'permitted development' rules (subject to certain conditions).
Terraced and semi-detached homes can make additions up to 6 metres without planning permission whilst detached houses can now add large structures up to 8 metres without permission as demonstrated. (The red shaded area on the diagram shows the old 4-metre limit, but this is now 8 metres (as of May 2019)).
Note: Should you wish to build a double story extension - you will require planning permission.
To learn about planning regulations in the UK or if you would like to apply for planning permission / make a building control application please visit the government-backed website 'Planning Portal'. Of course, you can always ask our team if you have any questions also.Launch Planning Portal Website

Although it is often imitated, nothing matches the beautiful appearance of real, high-quality hardwood. Wood complements every type of home, from large period homes to smaller, modern properties. Hardwood is also strong, durable and versatile. A hardwood framework also allows for a much larger frame and provides more structural strength that can support roof lanterns and an array of pitched glass units.

Paul and crew did a great job fitting our conservatory and patio area, all the team worked really hard, respected the house and all worked to a high standard. Paul and John, in particular, are both great guys and did a cracking job, I will definitely use them again in the future. Highly recommended.

Paul is very friendly and helpful. Provided photos of roof work and explained deviations from original spec and why he thought it a better solution. Recommended.
