We construct brick-built extensions whether they are single storey or double extensions, contemporary open plan living spaces or extra bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms etc. Whatever your requirements are we can deliver you a first-class job on time and within budget.
The Little Conservatory Company Ltd have a professional dedicated team of tradesmen who along with a professional project manager will make sure you are regularly informed of progress and that disruption is kept to a minimum. We cover most of the Cotswolds, Cheltenham and Gloucestershire. Call or email us to discuss your requirements.
Whether you need a brick match for a new home extension that you are about to build, or want to match brickwork that has been built for some time, we can source bricks to ensure we match the adjoining brickwork.
For a straightforward extension you should allow around £1,000 - £2,000 per/m². But, the cost of your extension will all come down to a number of factors, including size, specification and location. Approximate costs per/m² for building a single-storey extension are:
Other important aspects to consider before you get to the stage of getting your plans drawn are matters like:
If you would like to have a free consultation to discuss your options for your own budget, please contact us.
We are able to handle the entire process of a single or double level extension - from the initial designs and concepts using 3D CAD software (to help understand how your extension will look and function) through to assisting with planning/building notices (if required) and finally all construction work.
In fact 99% of the time we save our customers time and money by bringing the entire process under one roof. It also makes the entire process hassle-free for our customers!
In most cases, planning permission is not necessary for a single-story extension because adding one to your home is usually allowed under the new 'permitted development' rules (subject to certain conditions).
Terraced and semi-detached homes can make additions up to 6 metres without planning permission whilst detached houses can now add large structures up to 8 metres without permission as demonstrated. (The red shaded area on the diagram used to be the previous 4 metre limit, but this is now 8 metres (as of May 2019)).
Note: Should you wish to build a double story extension - you will require planning permission.

Paul and crew did a great job fitting our conservatory and patio area, all the team worked really hard, respected the house and all worked to a high standard. Paul and John, in particular, are both great guys and did a cracking job, I will definitely use them again in the future. Highly recommended.

Paul was great - he finished my conservatory and downstairs toilet on schedule and always was very clear about what he was doing and when. He consulted me throughout the building process to make sure I was happy. I would have no hesitation in recommending the Little Conservatory Company to anyone.
Excellent job and good communication. Work was to a high standard. Would recommend again.

New conservatory and double glazing. Paul and his team were great to deal with, excellent workmanship and extremely professional at all times, the work was completed in good time and to a very high standard, I would be more than happy to recommend The Little Conservatory Company.
Paul did some general maintenance jobs for me at a very reasonable rate and whilst I was away. Very pleased with results when I got back. Easy people to deal with - even neighbours commented on how pleasant they were. Would recommend highly.

Fitting window into industrial building Windows - Paul's team saved the day when we were let down by another builder. They did a good professional job for a reasonable price and cleared up properly afterwards. Thank you!

My conservatory has gone from the coldest room in the house to the warmest. Very happy with my update. Thank you all. Very polite staff.
Paul is very friendly and helpful. Provided photos of roof work and explained deviations from original spec and why he thought it a better solution. Recommended.
Can't fault Paul and the rest of The Little Conservatory Company at all. The staff helped with confusing jargon and I had my new bay windows fitted in a couple of hours since everything went so smoothly. What's even better is that they were the cheapest in town too. I will be using them again very very soon.
