uPVC Conservatories can be constructed to suit all garden spaces and designed in a style that suits your requirements, from Traditional to Contemporary. Our conservatories are available in a wide variety of colours and finishings.
Glass roofs are ideal for all year round living. We offer as standard - Solar controlled argon filled low-E units giving you the very best in UV protection in the summer while keeping you warm in the winter.
The Little Conservatory Company have been installing Kommerling uPVC windows and doors and Ultraframe roofs for over 15 years. These products have a proven track record for durability, reliability, warmth and security amongst all of our clients!
A traditional conservatory build is a cost-effective and enjoyable way to add light and space to your home. These type of conservatories are usually exempt from mainstream building regulations and planning permissions so they can be installed with the minimum of fuss.
We can build a wide range of high-performance conservatories, perfectly tailored to you. Warm, elegant and bright, every conservatory features high-performance glass and there are endless conservatory design options.
These type of conservatories are designed to offer a 'room-like feel' with a plastered finish. There is extra insulation around the eaves where heat loss is most prevalent and a ceiling pelmet sits internally around the perimeter of the room - this presents an illusion of a flat roof with a lantern roof on top.
The internal pelmet is available in any depth between 300mm and 1200mm meaning you can enjoy the light of a conservatory whilst having the look of an orangery and the solid feel of an extension all in one great option. The pelmet also provides the perfect place to install spotlights and speakers.
This type of conservatory is called a 'LivinRoom' conservatory and uses a conventional classic glazed roof which is attached to a steelwork ladder system. This is then plaster-boarded and skimmed to form a perimeter ceiling providing a finish that makes space feel like an extension of your home rather than a separate room.
In addition to the look and feel that is achieved, a LivinRoom Conservatory is much warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer compared to conventional uPVC conservatories due to the extra column insulation and 25mm Heat guard Polycarbonate 'cloaking screen'.
The skills of our design team, and the experience of our fitting technicians, means that even large and elaborate conservatories blend in with existing buildings. A choice of materials and uPVC finishes ensures T-shape conservatories become part of your home and are an impressive addition to your property.
Both The Residence Collection and Kommerling offer uPVC finishes that will replicate the look and feel of real wood. The strong and durable nature of uPVC combines with the traditional charm of timber to give your property a warm and inviting feel. We have over twenty colours to give you the best opportunity to find a wood grain/colour that works with your home. Please visit our uPVC windows and door sections on this website for further information about our wood-effect finishes.
Chartwell Green is a colour option that has recently become available for conservatory buyers and it has helped brilliantly blend conservatories into their outdoor surroundings - especially homes in the Cotswolds.
We are specialist installers of UltraFrame and we can combine these award-winning systems with windows and doors from leading brands such as Kommerling & Residence.
The most simplistic shape is a lean-to conservatory which offers maximum space in a highly economical style. If you prefer clean and understated lines a lean-to conservatory is a great solution, however, there are many other popular shapes including:
We are able to handle the entire process of a glass-roof conservatory build - from the initial designs and concepts using 3D CAD software (to help understand how your conservatory will look and function) through to assisting with planning/building notices (if required) and finally all construction work.
In fact 99% of the time we save our customers time and money by bringing the entire process under one roof. It also makes the entire process hassle-free for our customers!
In most cases, planning permission is not necessary for a conservatory because adding one to your home is usually allowed under the new 'permitted development' rules (subject to certain conditions).
Terraced and semi-detached homes can make additions up to 6 metres without planning permission whilst detached houses can now add large structures up to 8 metres without permission as demonstrated. (The red shaded area on the diagram shows the previous 4 metre limit, but this is now 8 metres (outer red line).
To learn about planning regulations in the UK or if you would like to apply for planning permission / make a building control application please visit the government-backed website 'Planning Portal'. Of course, you can always ask us if you have any questions also.

Had a new composite door fitted yesterday and I am so happy with how it looks! So much better than the old wooden one and it seems to be warmer too! Great work.

Paul and the guys did a great job on gutting and replacing our kitchen. During the project, Paul came up with lots of great ideas on how to get the best of our galley kitchen. Well organised and would def recommend. We used to hate going in the old kitchen but love the new one.
Mark, GL4
Paul is very friendly and helpful. Provided photos of roof work and explained deviations from original spec and why he thought it a better solution. Recommended.

Paul was great - he finished my conservatory and downstairs toilet on schedule and always was very clear about what he was doing and when. He consulted me throughout the building process to make sure I was happy. I would have no hesitation in recommending the Little Conservatory Company to anyone.

Can't fault Paul and the rest of The Little Conservatory Company at all. The staff helped with confusing jargon and I had my new bay windows fitted in a couple of hours since everything went so smoothly. What's even better is that they were the cheapest in town too. I will be using them again very very soon.

Paul and John, in particular, are both great guys and did a cracking job, I will definitely use them again in the future. Highly recommended.

Paul was very thorough in doing his work, checking everything to make sure we got what we wanted and to avoid any confusion. Even during the build he would ask us before going ahead with anything that had alternatives. Very impressed, and would certainly use his services again.
